Homefront is a story-driven cinematic action movie in which the script plays an important role. Famous Hollywood screenwriter John Milius (Apocalypse Today, Red Dawn) and a former American intelligence officer took part in the plot of the game. The authors came up with a realistic geopolitical scenario, according to which the U.S. economy will be finally destroyed by the second wave of the crisis by 2025, and New Korea, which gained political and military power (formed as a result of the unification of North and South Korea), will explode a nuclear warhead over the weakened States and occupy the west of the country. The people of America, having lost a regular army, but not broken, will continue to fight the invaders, waging an uncompromising guerrilla war against them. Their main task is to raise an uprising in San Francisco, which became the base of the occupying forces. The main character of Homefront, a professional pilot, by chance becomes one of the rebels. And now he has to go through fire, water and copper pipes (that is, run and shoot a lot, pilot a helicopter and a tank, arrange sabotage and blow up enemy targets) and bring the victory hour as close as possible!
